A mere mention of Kanakadurga conjures up a multi dimen- sional colourful picture of that Highest Goddess Adiparasakti-the per- sonification of Energy: the ultimate cause of Creation and the virtual ruler of the cosmos. She is that Pranavaswarupini combining in herself Jnanasakti-knowledge Ichchasakti-desire and kriyasakti-action, and as such nothing moves or forms without her bidding. Even the All-time- Highest Lord Siva, symbolising consciousness starts breathing with her power. Minus her results in motionlessness. Siva becomes Sava ie Paramasiva-the Lord of destruction becomes nishchala, nirjiva, nirvirya- motionless, lifeless and powerless without her power? Sacred scrip- tures grow eloquent and the saint-seers exhaust the power of language to describe her indescribable, illimitable, inexhaustible, invincible and immutable power. What is more, she is Omni- compassionate-affection incarnate and with a mere look, she makes mortals into immortals, sin- ners into angels. If she asserts herself and assumes the fiercest aspect even the most cruelest manifestation of wickedness, accustomed to regaling itself at the ruthless massacre of the living en masse, for sadistic pleasure, trembling falls to the ground and rolls in the pool of its own blood. Instances of the incarnations of blood-thirsty cannibals biting the dust and ultimately joining it, are infinite, and her sports to uphold dharma and supress adharma are countless, since the creation, as evidenced by her descending at the behest of her adorers at the right time, at the right place, to right the wrong done to them. Being bhaktaparadeena, she prefers to be diotated by her votaries, by abid- ing with them, or in them eternally to exercise round-the-clock vigil for their blissful prosperity and graceful living:
The Indrakila parvatha consecreted by her presence since the death of Mahishasura has witnessed several of her sports and it is here many facets of her mighty, glorious personality revealed themselves from time to time in meeting the challenges of the lokakantaka asurad- hamas, like Sumbha Nisumbhas, Durgasura, Sarabhasura, Mahishasura etc. and destroying them in the end.

It may not be deemed a hackneyed expression if said, that ocean's of ink become inadequate, if an attempt is made at narrating its sacrosanct history, but occasion demands brief narration.

Andhra Pradesh...had his Primary School education at Mulakalacheruvu, Chittoor Dt.. studied in Madanapalli, Andhra Pradesh till graduation.. a product of Besant Theosophical School and College... graduated from Madras University in 1952.
Entered Govt., Service in 1951 Registration Department for a year and worked as clerk in a half Joined as Graduate Asst. in Dt. Board High School in 1952 worked for three years at Puttur and Piler... underwent B.Ed. training at Govt. Training College in Kurnool in 1955-56... joined as trained teacher at Kuppam obtained two Masterate Degrees in the sister disciplines of Literature - English and Histroy from Banaras Hindu University in 1961 and 1965 worked as Special Asst. for 4 years at Z.M.P. Higher Secondary School, Chittoor.
Left for Tamil Nadu College service in 1966 worked as Lecturer at G.T.N. Arts College, Dindigul from 1966 till retirement in 1984... did Research on Byron as part time Research Scholar... submitted thesis for Ph. D. Degree to Madurai - Kamaraj University, Madurai... worked as Prof, and Head of the Department of English at Adhiparaskthi Engineering College, Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu worked in the Publication Department of TTD, Tirupati.
Has been contributing articles, Poems, essays, stories etc. to several periodicals both in English and Telugu under different pen names...authored about thirty books in English and Telugu.
