Born on 25.12.1954 in village Bancho, district Keonjhar in the state of Odisha (India), Er. Rama Chandra Padhi is the seventh issue of his father Raghunatha Padhi and mother Koili Devi. His parents and forefathers were the devotees of God. His father was also a famous astrologer. With a brilliant academic career, Sri. Padhi passed BSc. Engineering (Civil) from R.E.C. Rourkela (Now N.I.T.) in 1978. He started his professional career as J. E. under I & P Deptt. of Odisha Govt. With an outstanding professional career he retired as Chief Engineer (Civil) under W.R. Department, Govt. of Odisha on 31.12.2012.
Spiritual seeds were implanted in his tender heart at the age of seven by his parents. He learnt the Vedic process of worshipping the Idols of God with Sanskrit mantras and verses. He also learnt palmistry and astrology from his father. Right from his early boyhood, he was found to be different in his mental makeup. He was attracted to and derived pleasure from meditation for hours with full concentration and various other spiritual activities. Securing Best Tenth position in the state, Sri Padhi got admitted to Ramakrusna Mission Ashram, Puri in 1967. There he was enlightened with the Ramakrusna Philosophy and Divine vision of Swami Vivekananda. He learnt "Sunya Samadhi" from Swami Adrijananda Saraswati Maharaj.
"Athāto Brahma jigñāsā" and so on, the sages on their enquiry of the 'Brahman' in the volumes of the Upaniṣads and even in the Puranas, they get nothing else than 'Brahman', the Absolute. They declare-'Eko Brahman dwitiyo nāsti' and are pleased with the conclusion-Sarvam Khalwidam Brahman'! One God, everything is God. He is the Supreme. Nothing else exists!, is the philosophy of the Supreme.
Hence the "Philosophy of the Supreme" is an ongoing process for the rişis and Engineer Padhi joins the team with his unique torch of analysis, as evident from these two volumes. He examines each of His Beings, His Subjective and Plenary Expansions from Mahāvişnu to Brahmā. An interested observer is delighted and goes through the explication, inference and deductions and puts the writer to the right Super Highway of the Bhagavat Mahāpurāņa where all dialectical or bianary theories lead to the axiom, to the Adweita Vasudeva. HE might be in any form-Nirguna or Saguna, He manifests Himself in any form, mainly the important three - Brahman, Paramātmā and Bhagavān, of which the third one is the most popular.
"I offer my respectful obeisances unto the Lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Krşņa who has pervaded the whole of the spiritual and material creation as Vasudeva, Nārāyaņa, Vişņu, Hari, Brahman, Rama and Paramātmā. HE is All."
