Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura wrote two translation-cum-commentaries on the Bhagavad-Gita known as Rasika-ranjana and Vidvad-ranjana, which is based on Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura's Sarartha-varsini and on Srila Baladeva Vidyabhusana's Gita-bhusana respectively. The two works are same for the most part. They only differ in a few places here and there. In some places one of the commentary gives additional information, while in other places they differ in the words they use. And in most instances, they just change the word-order with no change in the meaning (because bengali is a free word-order language). In order to make the comparative study easier for the inquisitive reader, a single translation is given with differences/additions from each of the commentaries shown in brackets.
