Book Description
About The Book

Here is my gift to you. It is the Sata Sloki* Ramayana” in your hands. It is the brief narration of Ramayana, the story of Rama, (an incarnation of Vishnu). This hymn is in the beginning of the Ramayana by the saint poet Valmiki. For many people, it may not be possible to recite the full text of Valmiki Ramayana of 24000 slokas. Hence the brief version with meanings is now available to you.

This book is released in the Datta Yoga Centre, Carapichaima, Central Trinidad just within a few months after the consecration of the 85 feet Hanuman murty in this asrama. This is the fine result of your devotional effort for the grand inauguration of the new temples and unveiling of the magnanimous Hanuman statue here on 9-6-2003

‘Ramah Vigrahavan Dharmah” Rama is the personification of dharma (righteousness). By the worship of Rama, uttering the 108 names, singing the bhajans and Ramanama Ramayana, you will become more righteous, inspired and enthusiastic to do your duties well. You will get good results. This book has some bhajans on Ganesha, Siva, Datta, Rama and Hanuman with meanings. Derive maximum benefit by the same. Rama grants you wisdom, peace of mind, prosperity, purity of conduct, memory, concentration, righteousness, friendliness as also Atma Jnana (spiritual knowledge). Now it is up to you all to utilise the unique boon, I am giving you n the form of this book.

I would like that all of you recite the 100 slokas daily with devotion. Also, whenever possible, you study the meanings found the book. If so, your recitation will be more enjoyable and beneficial.
