Ajam Nirvikalpam Niraakaaramekam is how Lord Ganesha is described. He is Niraakaar (formless), Ajam (unborn), and Nirvikalpa (attributeless). He is revered for eradicating obstacles in life. This Side Faced Lord Ganesha Seated on a Kirtimukha Throns carved out of wood. It is a traditional Thamampatti statue which has a unique tainted style of paint on it. Here Lord Ganesha is seen sitting on a Lotus pedestal under a Kirtimukha Prabhavali, he is seen holding a noose in one of his hands. There is also a modak in one of his hands that signifies abundance. He sits in the Lalitasana pose with the mooshak sitting next to his feet. The statue is beautifully carved and is a perfect fit for a personal worship space.
