Q1. Can Chanderi sari be washed?
Dry cleaning is all that is required for the great majority of Chanderi. If you want your Chanderi to last as long as possible, you should only dry clean it. If you do need to wash your Chanderi, do so in cold water with a mild detergent and a thorough rinsing thereafter. The fabric should be dried inside out. Keep out of the bright sunlight if you can.
