For 36 years, Shyam Sunder dedicated his career to Delhi Public School, RK Puram, where he served as the head of the commerce department. In this role, he imparted knowledge and guidance to students studying in grades XI and XII, as well as those preparing for professional examinations such as Chartered Accountancy (CA). His leadership and expertise significantly contributed to the academic success of countless students over the years.

He is a seasoned educator and practitioner with a diverse range of expertise, he holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) and a Master of Arts in Economics (M.A. Eco), providing him with a solid foundation in financial and economic principles. Beyond his contributions to education, Shyam Sunder has also delved into the realm of astrology. He has pursued various courses in astrology, including Lal Kitab. KP astrology, and Vedic astrology. Through these studies, he has acquired a deep understanding of astrological principles and techniques.

With his blend of academic qualifications, teaching experience, and astrological expertise, he embodies a lifelong learner committed to both the pursuit of knowledge and the development of individuals.

Astrology is as old as time itself. Since first man looked about himself, observing the sun, the moon and the stars, as well as his more immediate surroundings, he has wondered. In his wondering, he discovered means of tying the seasons together, in correlation to the movements of the stars, the planets that were visible to him, and to the days and nights themselves.

Though Vedic Astrology was passed on to us by our Ancient Rishi's the Western Astrology came out of Persia to Grecce, then moved onward to be embraced by Rome, before spreading throughout Europe. From Europe it enveloped the globe in time, as peoples moved westward.

Astrology is neither religion, nor superstition-no more so than religion is superstition, except for those who wish to make it so. Astrology is a science or an art for it employs. the science of astronomy as the other sciences use related sources of material (i.e., such as medicine uses chemistry or biology), and its application depends upon the artistry of the astrologer.

Astrology is neither fortune-telling, nor divination, nor philosophy, yet it is all of these, including religious influences, with superstitious overtones, all of which make astrology an artful science. Scientists, in the exact sense, allow room for error, and so it is with astrology, for the astrologer is like a weatherman who may forecast rain but cannot tell who will be wet.
