Mahvira, born as Prince Vardhamana to King Siddhartha and his wife, Trishala, in Kundagram near Vaishali in Bihar in 599 BC., is the epitome of suffering and endurance. Mahavira, the 24th Jain Tirthankara, came to be know as 'Mahavira' because of this adventurous acts during his childhood.
